Purpose of the site

This website is published by Businessdatainsights to describe the finance analytics work we offer from Singapore: management reporting, cash forecasting, unit economics, budgeting, data models and board packs. It also carries notes from the desk, a method page, and a way to write to us. It is not a trading platform and not a substitute for a conversation about your books.

The site may be updated without notice. The version you read is the version on the page that day. If you do not accept these terms, close the tab and write to the studio on paper if you still need to reach us.

Informational character of the materials

Everything on this site describes our analytics work or explains how we like to work. It is not accounting advice, not tax advice, not an audit opinion, and not a recommendation to buy, hold or sell any security or business. Indicative fee bands on the practice page are illustrations confirmed only after scoping. Timelines are typical, not promises for a file we have not seen.

You should not rely on a page here as the sole basis for a commercial decision. If you need a number you can take to a board, that number has to come from a model built on your data under a signed agreement, with a dictionary you have read.

Casework is an illustrative composite

The casework pages set out engagement patterns we see in Singapore mid-sized groups. They are written as composites. No client is named. Figures describe the scale of a problem, not the results of a named company, and not a guarantee of what a build will show in your ledger. The flag under each case is part of the page on purpose.

You may not present those pages to a third party as evidence of a reference or a quantified outcome we achieved for a named organisation. We do not publish testimonials or scores on this site.

Contractual obligations arise only from a signed agreement

Sending a form, booking a scoping call, or reading a fee band does not create a contract for analytics work. A contract exists when both sides have signed an engagement letter that names the scope, the fee, the data handling, and the deliverables. Until then, either side may stop the conversation. We may decline work that sits outside reporting, forecasting and the data model underneath, including audit, tax filing, bookkeeping as a service, and licensed investment advice.

Intellectual property in the site

The text, layout, marks and original graphics on this website are owned by Businessdatainsights or used under licence. You may view the pages and print a copy for your own internal evaluation of whether to write to us. You may not copy the site into another commercial offering or present our notes as your own. The name Businessdatainsights is used on this site as our brand. Photographs illustrate the studio and the kind of rooms in which this work happens. They are not photographs of named clients.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided as it stands. We take care with the words. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or fit for a purpose other than describing our work. To the extent Singapore law allows, Businessdatainsights is not liable for loss that arises from your use of the website, including loss of profit that follows from relying on a page without a signed engagement. Nothing here limits liability that Singapore law does not allow to be limited. For paid work, the signed agreement sets the liability terms that actually matter.

The contact page embeds a Google Maps view of our building. That embed is provided by Google, not by us, and is subject to Google’s terms. Other outbound links, if we add any, are for convenience. We are not responsible for the content of a third-party page. Our cookie notice explains what the map may store in your browser.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over a dispute that concerns this website, subject to any mandatory consumer rights. If a part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains.
